What an Awareness month it’s been! From May 15-June 15, the Tourette Association, along with our friends, supporters and advocates, has been raising awareness and understanding of Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders! We are so proud to report that this has been the most successful awareness effort in our history — and we truly believe we are moving the needle toward greater understanding, support and social acceptance. This year, we launched the #tiChallenge, a social-media based series of videos that challenged the world to learn more, understand more, become more tolerant, etc. Not only have we developed an amazing library of “challenges,” but we have surely crafted a message that has been heard loud and clear! In fact, we’ve had more than 5 Million social media impressions as part of our National Tourette Awareness Social Media Campaign.
