Haley Carlton

Youth & Education Programs Coordinator

Haley Carlton is the Youth & Education Programs Coordinator for the Tourette Association of America. In her role, she assists with facilitating, planning, and executing various youth programming such as the Ambassador programs, webinars, and the Teen Summit. Haley graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, where she focused her senior capstone project on the history of stigma surrounding Tourette Syndrome. While in college, Haley trained as a Rising Leader in the inaugural class of 2019. As a Rising Leader, she launched a then mini IGTV series called #TicTalkTuesday, discussing many different aspects of Tourette Syndrome. Haley also went on to appear as a guest on podcasts such as Tourette’s Podcast and Fabulously Tourette Podcast. Before her employment with the Tourette Association, Haley interned and trained the 2021 class of Rising Leaders. Having Tourette herself, Haley is passionate about advocating for and destigmatizing disabilities.

In her free time, Haley enjoys gaming, filming videos, and spending time at her family’s farm in Alabama, where she finds peace in animal husbandry.
