Leo Neuringer serves as the Program Assistant to the Medical & Research division of the TAA. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the TAA’s Research Grants Program, the Centers of Excellence program, and the TS-BTI Institute as well as providing administrative support to the VP of Medical & Research. He is looking forward to continuing to modernize the review processes involved in these projects as well as familiarizing himself further with the work of the TAA – of which he is thrilled to be a part!
Prior to joining the TAA, Leo completed his Msc in Latin American Development & Globalization at University College London, specializing in the intersection of Public Policy and Clean Energy in the Southern Cone. He was elected Student Academic Representative and subsequently won grant-funding to spearhead his project, the Americas Journal Club, presenting forthcoming academic research to a multidisciplinary audience spanning 12 departments in 3 universities. Leo’s dual passions for relationship-building and the propagation of scientific knowledge underpin his commitment to the TAA’s foundational pillars of Awareness, Research & Support.
He studied BA Modern Languages: Russian & Spanish at the undergraduate level.
