As the Director of the Southern California Region, Porcia is an accomplished nonprofit leader with over ten years of experience in the nonprofit industry where she has successfully guided organizations to achieve their mission and expand their impact. In her previous roles, Porcia has been at the helm of significant organizational growth and transformation. She has overseen a wide range of responsibilities, including strategic planning, program development, fundraising, and community engagement. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving the success of various initiatives aimed at addressing key social issues, from education and healthcare to economic development and advocacy. Additionally, Porcia is known for her ability to build strong, collaborative teams and foster partnerships that amplify the reach of the organizations she leads. Her fundraising expertise has been particularly noteworthy, enabling her to secure the resources needed to sustain and expand critical programs that would not be available otherwise to vulnerable populations. She has a proven track record of developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns, cultivating donor relationships, and managing grants that align with the organization’s goals.
Porcia holds a degree in Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills. She is a self-described “huge fan of humans”, she aims to help as many people as possible within her lifetime to become their absolute best versions of themselves in whatever capacity that might look like to each person. In her free time, she enjoys surprise visiting her daughter at Arizona State University (which her daughter absolutely loves), watching her high school-aged son play volleyball, and watching her youngest son train jiu jitsu full-time as a professional athlete. She enjoys all things health, fitness, making people smile, laughing, and cooking with friends and family.
