Dr. Helene Walisever

Helene Walisever, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist, member of the TAA Education Advisory Board, and chair of the TAA NY Hudson Valley Chapter. She and several of her children have Tourette Syndrome and other learning differences.

Martin & Suzanne Silveira

Martin & Suzanne Silveira are high school sweethearts who have been married for 31 years. They reside in Southern California where they’ve raised three children (30, 27, and 24 years old). They are blessed to have five grandchildren (8, 7, 5,4, and 2 years old). One of their grandsons has a recent diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome. Martin and Suzanne had careers in the public education system. Their hobbies include farm life, gardening, being koi pond enthusiasts, and horseback riding. They are very active in their grandchildren’s lives. They volunteer at their schools, attend soccer practices/games, participate in church events, library story-times, and more.
