Thank you so much for reaching out to the Tourette Association of America (TAA). Our Norcal/Hawaii chapter has the following four active support groups serving Northern California: (1) East Bay in Concord (2) Sacramento (3) Monterey and (4) Fresno. Our meetings are open to individuals and families living with TS or to supporters who want to make a difference. We welcome all ages and encourage people to bring their family members as well. It might help if you join our FB and yahoogroups pages in order to get announcements on upcoming meetings.
The TAA Youth Ambassador Program brings together, trains and supports teens to advocate for and talk about Tourette and Tic Disorders in their community, with their elected officials and before their peers at school, sports leagues, scout troops, camps and after-school programs. Learn More
The TAA conducts in-service presentations around the state with various schools on an as needed basis. It can make a tremendous difference in your child’s academic experience to have the school staff educated about the many facets of TS. Learn More

Do you have some time to help others? Volunteers are always needed to help coordinate support groups throughout both Northern California and Hawaii.
We are looking for volunteers from all over Northern California and Hawaii. We will train you to do in-services in the schools to help educate students and educators about TS.
Do you have expertise in writing grants? Help our chapter gain additional funding to support workshops for parents, educators, physicians, adults and students with TS
Work with our fundraising team on fundraising efforts.
Building our Physician Referral List
We work within the National TAA guidelines to help educate physicians in our area about TS and to get them registered with the TAA National Organization.
