This Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) Training is open exclusively to licensed providers in the Occupational, Physical, and Speech Language Therapy professions.

Program Schedule: Participants must attend both full days of training and complete the follow up requirements to be eligible for the Certificate of Completion
Day 1: Saturday, September 27, 2025, 8:30am – 5:00pm EST (8.5hrs) Full day training
Day 2: Sunday, September 28, 2025, 8:30am – 4:00pm EST (7.5hrs) Full day training
Description: In this live didactic training, participants will first learn about Tourette Syndrome (TS), common co-morbidities, and the general strategy for treating TS. Then, this two-day training will introduce you to the evidenced-based behavioral therapy, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT).
Within this training, attendees will learn the core components of providing CBIT therapy, and treating tic disorders using didactic instruction, videos, role-playing and demonstration. An abundance of resources will be provided, including an instruction manual, handouts, treatment forms, assessments, and more.
Included in this course, post-training, learners will be mentored through their first client with tics, ensuring mastery of the CBIT intervention. At the conclusion of the mentorship, learners will have the opportunity to join a free online forum with other providers across the country for collaboration, mentorship and resources.
