Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists. 

Schedule

Day 1: (January 29, 2027), 8:30am-5:00pm EST (8.5 hours) Full day training   

Day 2: (January 30, 2027), 8:30am-4:00pm EST (7.5 hours) Full day training    

About

This two-day live training introduces participants to Tourette Syndrome (TS), common co-occurring conditions, and an evidence-based behavioral therapy for tics, CBIT. Participants will learn the role of occupational therapy in CBIT and the core components of treatment through didactic instruction, videos, demonstrations, and role-playing, with comprehensive resources provided. Following the training, participants will receive mentorship through their first client with tics to support mastery of the CBIT intervention, followed by access to a free online provider forum for ongoing collaboration, mentorship, and resources. The training is open to licensed OTs, PTs, and SLPs, as well as OTAs and PTAs who have a supervising professional trained in CBIT or participating in the training concurrently.
