This event is made for children ages 8-11 years old. Registration is first come, first served and is limited to 10 children per session. Please only register for one session out of the four to provide access to as many children as possible.
The TAA invites children ages 8-11 to join us for specific creative arts activities to learn how to regulate their own bodies to manage emotions and feelings. Through
participating in several guided activities, using common art materials, participants will discover quick and easy techniques they can use whenever they feel anxious, nervous, or stressed.

Margaret Carlock, EdD, ATR-BC, ATCS, Chroma Soul Arts
Dr. Margaret Carlock-Russo, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS is a licensed, registered, and board-certified art therapist. She has over 27 years of experience as an educator and clinical art therapist. Margaret has worked extensively with individuals and groups, engaged in program development, graduate education, and is a certified art therapy supervisor. Margaret finds creative connection through spending time in natural surroundings and engages in her own artistic practice primarily through pottery, pastel drawing, and collage. She is also a clinical faculty member at Prescott College, coordinating and teaching in their Expressive Arts Therapy Post Master’s Certificate Program. Margaret actively engages in art therapy advocacy at the state and national levels and provides consultation, workshops, and presentations globally. Margaret is the immediate past president of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).
