Audience: Tweens ages 11-14 with Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder
Session Summary: This virtual yoga class is designed to help tweens build body awareness, manage energy, and find moments of calm. Through a mix of mindful movements, breathing exercises, and grounding practices, participants will learn tools to both energize when feeling low and relax when feeling overwhelmed. No prior yoga experience needed – just come as you are and move at your own pace. Have a pen and paper handy.

Diana is the proud owner of Shine Yoga, LLC, nestled in the heart of Cary, NC. Shine Yoga was founded in 2017, driven by a deep commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive space for the neurodiverse community. Her journey into yoga and mindfulness was inspired by the realization of a significant need for these practices among individuals who navigate the world differently. Diana is a parent to a son with Tourette Syndrome who was a 2024 TAA Jr. Youth Ambassador and a daughter with an unspecified Tic Disorder. With over 20 years of experience in the professional field of neurodiversity, Diana brings a unique perspective and empathy to practice.
