Anne Baldwin
Anne Baldwin is a mother, wife, award-winning author, pageant queen, and grad school student. Residing in Clarkston, Michigan, Anne lives with her husband, Nick, and two sons, Levi and Gus. Anne’s son, Levi, was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and other Neurodiverse conditions when he was 6, and after becoming a fierce advocate for her son and other kids like him, Anne made the decision to go back to school at the age of 37 to receive her master’s in special education and learning disabilities with the goal of becoming an elementary special ed teacher. Along with going back to school, Anne is a Kindergarten instructional aide and 7th/8th grade competitive cheerleading coach. Anne is a published author of What Makes Me…Me, an award-winning story about Levi’s journey with Tourette Syndrome and learning to embrace your unique self. In 2021, Anne won the title of Mrs. Michigan American and went on to compete nationally at the Mrs. America and Mrs. American pageant advocating on a national stage for the inclusivity and understanding of kids living with Tourette Syndrome and their caregivers.
Levi Baldwin
Levi Baldwin is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and other Neurodiverse conditions at the age of 6, Levi has made it his goal to not let his differences define him or stop him from achieving his dreams in life. Learning to accept and love his differences, Levi shares that journey with others as a Junior Youth Ambassador for the Tourette Association of America, advocating in Washington, DC, the Michigan Capitol, as well as in local schools in Michigan to explain to others the importance of inclusions for those different than you. When Levi isn’t changing the world or going to school, you can find him playing video games, watching Star Wars, or hanging with his Service Dog, Loki.
