In 2021, the TAA’s Behavioral Science Consortium tested and published the first large scale study showing that non-medication treatment can effectively reduce tic severity. This treatment is called the Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). The development of this new therapy brings great hope and excitement to the TS community.
