You may have learned about Tourette Syndrome (TS) and other Tic Disorders in your professional training. However, TS and Tic Disorders are still misunderstood among many health care professionals, which can lead to a delay in individuals receiving appropriate care.  This guide is meant to equip health care providers with the necessary information to recognize TS and Tic Disorders in their practices so that they can provide accurate diagnoses, referrals, recommend appropriate treatments, and guide their patients to the proper avenues for resources and support.
