How do we use social media in advocacy and How do we message Members of Congress?
Answer: The best way to use social media in advocacy is as a follow up to any communications/requests/action with a Member of Congress. It has been reported by the Congressional Management Foundation that Congress is more inclined to use social media than in the past. In fact, we know it to be true that social media has helped to improve relationships between constituents and Congress because social media have made Members of Congress more accountable to constituents.
Examples of how to message Members of Congress is provided below.

Step 1: Take a photo immediately after your Congressional Meeting with your Member of Congress or staffer-preferably next to the office name plague and flags.
