Since the conclusion of Tourette Awareness Month, the Tourette Association of America has celebrated several milestones. I had the privilege of being part of a special moment on the TODAY Show with TAA Youth Ambassador Trevor Harris and his family; NYC Chapter Board Member Chelsea White was featured in Glamour.com; and Loren Brovarnik of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After debuted as a TAA Ambassador on the nationally syndicated show.
As if all of that weren’t enough, we announced the location of genetic risk indicators in Tourette Syndrome which were identified as a result of TAA funded initiatives. Talk about progress! To learn more read the full study here. All of these exciting activities are made possible thanks to the continued dedication and support of the Tourette community and friends like you. We look forward to celebrating more successes in the coming months. To learn more about how you can help, click, call or stop by today.
