2021 Team Tourette T-Shirt Contest Winner Announced!
We are pleased to announce the winner of the Team Tourette T-Shirt Contest, Olivia, a Tourette Association of America Youth Ambassador from Gainesville, Virginia! Her design was “Got Tics? No stigma. No judgments.”
Olivia will have her design featured on the 2021 Team Tourette T-Shirts and will be recognized in the TAA newsletter publication, on social media, and will receive a free t-shirt with her design on it!
Thanks to the contest participants and the Tourette Syndrome community’s input. Olivia shares the inspiration behind the design below:
“I decided to use ‘Got tics?’ because it covers not only #Tourette but also other Tic Disorders. I also found it catchy and fun. The TAA creates a safe community for people like me to be themselves and not have to worry about being judged. That’s why I found it fitting to include the phrases ‘no stigma’ and ‘no judgment’ on a Team Tourette t-shirt.” – Olivia
