Join us for a free, interactive and informative webinar about our Youth Ambassador Program on March 21, 2017, from 7pm-8pm hosted by the Tourette Health and Education Program. We will be discussing activities and responsibilities of our Youth Ambassadors.

This presentation will explore:

  • What the YA program is
  • How joining the YA program has changed people’s lives
  • What it entails to become a YA

This free webinar is hosted by the Tourette Health and Education Program, in partnership with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Presenter: Jen Zwilling

Jen Zwilling is the Founder and Co-Director of the Youth Ambassador Program of the Tourette Association of America (TAA) and has won many awards for her achievement of the program’s development.  She is an Honorary Board member of the Long Island Chapter of the TAA where she has also served as  Co-State Policy Director. In addition, Jen is on the Young Adult Advisory Board of the TAA. Jen has advocated on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC for the past consecutive 15 years. She is also involved with the Center of Excellence at Northwell Health serving as an Advisory Board member.  Jen facilitates the TAA Youth Ambassador training each year in Washington, DC.  The program’s goal is to greatly engender sensitivity, awareness and understanding about Tourette that will improve and enrich the experience and interactions for children with Tourette and their peers
