Bayside, NY – February 28, 2025: The Tourette Association of America (TAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dashiell Mihok and Anthony Acampora to the TAA Board of Directors, effective February 25, 2025. Their diverse expertise and deep commitment to the community of individuals impacted by Tourette Syndrome (TS) and other Tic Disorders will add invaluable support and perspective to the organization’s leadership.

Dash Mihok is an acclaimed actor, producer, and director, widely known for his role as Brendan “Bunchy” Donovan in the Showtime drama series Ray Donovan, and films such as The Day After Tomorrow, Romeo + Juliet, Silver Linings Playbook, I Am Legend, and The Thin Red Line. Mihok was diagnosed with TS at age six, a condition shared by both of his sisters. He has been involved with the TAA since the age of 11 and has been a powerful and consistent supporter of the organization’s mission. In an interview looking back on his career and life with TS, Mihok stated that he was sure he got into acting because the experience of having to transform to hide his tics focused him in creating an outlet for his TS and OCD.
