December 4, 2025 – After many years of dedicated service as the President and CEO of the Tourette Association of America (TAA), Amanda Talty will be stepping down from her role to pursue the next chapter in her professional journey on December 19, 2025.
Amanda’s leadership has grown the TAA to be the profoundly impactful organization that it is today, supporting the millions of Americans affected by Tourette Syndrome and other Tic Disorders.
The entire TAA community is deeply grateful for her tremendous contributions and steadfast commitment to its shared mission.
To ensure a smooth and successful transition, the TAA is pleased to welcome Leslie Lichter as its Interim President and CEO. Leslie brings extensive experience as an effective interim leader to the TAA, including positions with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and the UJA.
The TAA is confident that Leslie’s steady hand and thoughtful leadership will guide it through this period of transition, including the selection of a permanent President and CEO, while ensuring the TAA remains focused on delivering meaningful and outstanding support to people affected by Tourette Syndrome and other Tic Disorders.
The TAA looks forward to working alongside its partners, continuing to expand its impact and meet the increasing needs of the growing community it serves.
