SoCal TAA Programs and Events

The TAA has partnered with the OC Healthcare Agency to provide no-cost support for Orange County Families who are affected by Tourette Syndrome, Tic Disorders, and co-occurring conditions, including the 50% undiagnosed population. The TAA is dedicated to fostering a community of inclusivity and support. Whether you are seeking assistance, knowledge, or connection, you have found a welcoming space here.

Peer Mentor Training

Join the TAA for our upcoming Peer Mentor Training and learn from experienced parents of children with Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder about providing support and guidance through multiple avenues, such as regular phone calls, emails, sharing personal experiences and more.

RespectAbility – Inclusion in the Workplace

In this exciting and informative session, Phillip Saldana (he/they) will share their personal and professional experience as a nonprofit professional with Tourette Syndrome. Phillip will discuss what true inclusion in the workplace looks like as well as common barriers they have seen in their own experience. Phillip will go on to discuss RespectAbility’s inclusion framework and what has helped the organization to attract the 80% of its staff with disabilities.

The TAA Presents our inaugural Neuro-Inclusivity Casino Night! Join us for an evening of good luck, fun, and philanthropy at The Speakeasy SF, all to create a more inclusive and supportive world for those living with Tourette Syndrome, Tic Disorders, and associated conditions. Practice your poker face, because together, we will make a positive impact on the lives of our vulnerable community.
